Galleria, Coffee Festival
Campaign

This integrated marketing campaign leveraged off Melbourne's strong and vibrant coffee culture. Goals of the campaign included; enhancing customer experience, increasing awareness of the Galleria Food Hall, expanding the customer database, to increase traffic and sales during down times, and to engrain Galleria in customer's minds as a coffee destination. The core campaign elements were; coffee academy workshops, coffee festival show-bags, spend and receive complimentary offer, and online competition. Results showed the campaign appealed to its target audience resulting in high voucher redemption rates, booked out workshops and high entrant numbers for the online competition.

Galleria, Summer Christmas
Campaign

Galleria is a retail shopping centre located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. To stand out from all the Christmas noise, the campaign focussed on the Australian experience. The beach plays an important role in the Australian context and is used to invoke memories of happiness, fun and being with family and friends. The large broadsheet format of the catalogue along with the design differentiates Galleria from other brands, taking the centre more upmarket and highlighting the boutique stores on offer. Campaign included catalogue, press advertising, in-centre and point-of-sale signage, and distribution of catalogue at major CBD train stations. Finalist 'Catalogue of the Year' and 'Shopping Centres', Australian Catalogue Awards 2013.

Mornington Peninsula Shire, Community Plan Summary
Brochure

The Shire needed to communicate to Mornington Peninsula residents its upcoming Community Plan and Strategy Document. This is an important dialogue as it details how the Shire will address issues across the municipality. The key objective of the brochure was to simplify the important messages from what is a hefty and technical document. To do this, 5 main areas of focus were identified that needed to be communicated to the target audience. This provided the design process with clear direction resulting in a simple, understandable and effective piece of communication. The concept, 'One Step at a Time', represents the taking of positive steps towards achieving the goals and objectives set out in the Community Plan.

Galleria, Gentlemen's Spring Fashion Sessions
Campaign

The spring racing carnival is a highlight in the Melbourne fashion calendar, increasingly as much for men as it is for the ladies. The campaign positioned Galleria as a hub for men's fashion shopping in the CBD. Free styling sessions for men were held in-centre, showcasing the latest spring fashion on offer. Customers were also engaged in the social media space with the chance to win a $1000 shopping spree through Facebook.

Goldsbrough Lane, Celebrate the Season
Campaign

Goldsbrough Lane is a new generation Melbourne laneway, featuring a mix of retail, cafés, bars and restaurants. Located in the legal precinct of Melbourne's CBD, the lane is located conveniently for office workers. The campaign aimed to bring awareness to the lane and to position it as the perfect place to meet friends and colleagues for a meal or drink. Campaign included catalogue, spend & win competition, voucher give-away through social media channels, press, outdoor and point-of-sale advertising and on-street distribution.

Culture Victoria, Website Launch
Poster, Postcard and Online Advertising

To communicate the coming together of Victoria's rich and diverse arts and cultural treasures online, we connected some of Victoria's most recognisable icons. The design uses a line to tie the cultural treasures together, a visual play relating to their new 'on-line' presence. Between the icons the line forms words conveying the various media formats available for viewing on the website.

Goldsbrough Lane, Corporate Rewards
Booklet

The pocket sized booklets of redeemable vouchers were distributed to customers at Goldsbrough Lane and office workers in the surrounding buildings. The offers served to reward customers, entice new patronage and increase awareness of the variety of food and retail on offer at the Lane.

IQPC, Green Business Conference
Promotional postcard, brochure and online advertising

IQPC produces tailored conferences, large scale events, topical seminars and in-house training programs. A direct marketing campaign was rolled out showcasing green innovations with all promotional collateral produced using sustainable materials. Included in the collateral was a postcard printed on 'grow me' paper which when planted grows into Australian native flora.

The event was aimed at a high level corporate audience and the design needed to reflect the quality of the speakers and content being presented. The colour palette of navy and gold along with a clean and simple design assisted the content heavy brochure in being easily read and to position the event appropriately with the target market.

Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, Climate Change Report Summary
Booklet

The environment is highly valued and a key concern for the Peninsula community. The Council commissioned the CSIRO to report on the Peninsula's environmental health and wanted to communicate the findings to its residents. The technical report required simplification to be effectively communicated, resulting in the production of a booklet summarising the key findings. The design direction drew on the reports finding that inaction will result in a gradual decline in the local environment, the cover features a pristine area transforming into environmental ruin. Community meetings facilitated by environmental experts were branded 'Climate Change Conversations' and advertised via a flyer design.

Corporate newsletters

Jones Lang La Salle needed a vehicle to effectively communicate key issues, topics and achievements relevant to tenants of specific CBD buildings. It also gave them the opportunity to introduce the building management teams and to foster a community feel among occupants.

To celebrate Melbourne's spring fashion festival a campaign was produced to raise the profile of Goldsbrough Lane's fashion offering. The campaign showcased the Lane's fashion and included; catalogue, luxury holiday competition and fashion voucher give-away via social media.

One of IQPC's largest conferences and featuring internationally renowned keynote speakers representing high profile brands, the marketing for this conference needed to win over notoriously time poor, high level corporate managers. The design needed to grab the customer's attention and quickly and clearly communicate the benefits of attending.

Exhibition Directory Book

The Big Book of Ideas is a directory, communiqué, and promotional document all in one. The biggest challenge to designing a large directory is the indexing system. Our solution was to use colour to visually highlight the different sections of the book which allowed for much quicker and easier navigation through what is a sizable publication.

Brochure

A week of healthcare related events with the purpose of bringing the industry together for knowledge sharing, benchmarking and learning. The goal of the brochure was to clearly communicate all organised activities so participants could easily identify relevant events and items of interest.

Galleria, The Art of Gift Giving
Campaign

A thoughtfully selected gift for a loved one, the art of gift giving - the perfect sentiment for presenting gift ideas from Galleria's unique range of stores. The catalogue included a page for customers to personalise with their own gift list. Customers received a Cartier frame as a gift-with-purchase offer. The campaign collateral included catalogue, press advertising, in-centre and point-of-sale signage. Finalist 'Shopping Centres', Australian Catalogue Awards.
